Select rooms are in the Annex, a Japanese-Style House with an open-air bath, or a Superior Room with a Tatami Area and an open-air bath. The Annex rooms and Superior rooms place guests along the Tanohara River for direct views of the water and surrounding gardens.

Hot Springs & Bathing Facilities

The hotel operates a large mixed-gender open-air bath along the river, plus a cave bath and a river bath. For guests with tattoos, there are private bathing options and a private onsen that can be reserved at no extra charge. Women have exclusive access to the mixed-gender outdoor area from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Wellness & Pools

The property includes a thermal-heated indoor swimming pool open year-round for guests. A steam sauna and a cold bath are available next to the outdoor bathing area. Pool towels are provided, and the shallow end of the pool allows for safe use by children.
